As of the Candlelight Vigil on December 6, 2007, the granite base had not been installed. The granite arrived in early February and was put into place. It looks great! The brick patio is now in (June 2008). We have over 50 dedicated bricks installed that surround the statue. Bricks will be able to be added to the patio as they are purchased and made. The bricks, engraved with the name of the child, dates, and a short message, are placed and set permanently at the base of the "The Christmas Box Angel" statue. The donation is tax deductible, made to the Central Louisiana Community Foundation (CLCF), and directed through the Ellie Schroeder Charitable Fund (CLCF-ESCF).
